At the moment i would like to find some jobs in english so i am searching for international campanies. Can you give me some advice?
I´m a Clinical Psychologist specialized in Gerontology and Clinical and Health Psychology. Im portuguese. In the last 16 years I worked in a health care center with elderly pacients that present pathologies such as cancer, dementia, palliative care, neurodegenerative diseases and other chronic illness. Despite my specialty,I am really passionate about caring and supporting other people and I have experience leading with families. At the beginning of my professional career I worked with childs and adolescents, so that is why I am applying for this job position.
At the moment I am in the Netherlands to stay, for living and for working if everything goes well and according to my expectations. As I say in my motivation letter, the reason I left Portugal is because my husband came to work in netherlands. Actually, it’s never late to change and and embrace new challenges and other opportunities in this area and help other people facing emotional problems. I do not speak ducth yet because i have just arrived at Amsterdam, where actually I am living now (New Sloten). I am in Amsterdam since May.
I have attached my CV and motivation letter with more specific information about me where you will find further information and details of my experience. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions. It will be a pleasure to talk about my experience and listen to others. I think it would be an honour to join your team.
Thank you for your time and consideration. Hope to receive news from you.

    1. Hi Vera, thank you for your comment! The above companies all hire non-Dutch speakers. The NIP is the Dutch Association of Psychologists: https://www.psynip.nl/en/ there’s more information on how to get accredited as a psychologist in The Netherlands. You can also look for private practises in The Netherlands where they speak English. Hope this helps!
